Between Paint Nite Parties and Adult Coloring Books, it’s clear that artistic expression is an outlet for lots of women. I started following these calligraphy accounts on Instagram recently. More than I care to admit. I watch the videos and find them soothing to watch and am amazed at the beautiful letter formations that look so easy. I love written language, a hand written note, vocabulary and phrases. I also love the look (and feel and smell) of pens and markers! The other day, I regrammed/reposted a phrase that I have always loved. That night before going to sleep, I checked my comments and learned about this Calligraphy Basics Workshop, being held later this month in White Plains.
